These little critters.

bobby doves.the barbadians call them mullies.this pic i took in barbados,west indies.the bird with the ring on it's neck was never seen before on that island.in fact,ibegun to observe its'parents while they were building the nest.i would often photograph them sitting in the nest.never did i imagine that their offspring would be one of a kind. i fell in love with this bird the moment i saw it.the last week before i left barbados,they started to come by my balcony for me to feed them.i wanted to hold this bird and examine it.one day while standing on the balcony,this bird flew on my hand but was unable to hold it.as i was telling my wife what happened,it flew on me again.still i couldn't hold it.i told my wife perhaps it knows i was leaving soon and it came to say goodbye.the following day i managed to hold this bird in my hands and i took it around to show my neighbors.for the last remaining days it came to me often.those pics are yet to be developed.
