Because the digestive juices in the stomach contain acid, which when present without sufficiant food molecules begin to eat away at our stomach walls, the baroreceptors within the walls of the stomach send a siganl via afferent pathways to the intestine to contract and relax in a quick fashion to produce a hungry feeling so the acid doesnt kill us!
It is your stomach trying to eat itself.
When our stomachs are empty there is nothing to absorb the sound of the gastric acids squelching around in there.
It's basically your stomach trying to digest food that isn't there.
i dont know the answer, but my tummy tells me that i am hungry even when i am not, so i dont think that it's just hunger pains. i do think that is something do with stomach acid and the walls moving. my tummy is stupid though

after i eat a meal i have to use the bathroom,does this mean the food i eat digest fast or i just ate enough for the other food to come out?
