I was in a tornado once. Watched it come right up my backyard. I was mesmerized, then I realized how stupid I was being and jumped under the bed. A big oak tree in the back yard deflected it up and over the house. It laid that tree right on top of the roof and didn't take off one shingle. There was a 200 foot antennae on top of the roof that it bent over and stuck the tip of the antennae in the front yard. When you hear people say they sound just like a freight train, that is absolutely right.
