    If you scrape out the coconut meat and grind it or blend int with a little water you can get the coconut milk AND cream out of the meat. It is very rich and if you do it from fresh coconuts is much better tasting than canned though there are some great brands of canned. YOu can even take the leftover pulp from making the milk once and do it over again by adding some more water and you will get a lighter milk. Still good :-)

    when you bake the coconut slightly and then extract the meat and puree it you get a paste...when this is passed through a sieve you get coconut milk...Don't confuse this with coconut water which is the water that occurs naturally in the center of the coconut.

    It's not the water that's inside the nut when you open it.
