  • Teach him the value of a good communicator.
  • Here's a couple of good web sites for you: http://www.education.unisa.edu.au/bullying/ http://www.bouldenpublishing.com It's a serious problem nowadays and if your child is being bullied at school, you need to bring it to the attention of the school authorities without delay.
  • martial arts lessons, its the best way to learn to communicate properly and learn how to deal with situations without violence. sounds weird i know.
  • Start with coordination exercises and gymnastic type tumbling as early as age two ... frequently ask them if the best that they have done was the best that they could do, smile gently, compliment, and edify them when they honestly answer with a yes ... this will build confidence ... and have them learn a serious internal martial art, starting as young as possible ... teach them to read, then have them read EVERY major religious book, letting them know that these are what many others believe, yet let them choose which or IF they want to believe ... teach them honour and humble humility and stress "doing what is right" above all else ... do this, and they will just automatically feel a repulsion for oppressive aggression, and will want to (and be able to) stand up to bullies.
  • When I first dealt with bullies I was taught by my grandfather how to fight (as my father was dead and my mother really didn't approve of it). That was the easiest way for me to deal with it, however for females who often are not physically bullied but rather emotionally, I don't know.
  • Show them how it's done. Go find a bully, or have a friend play-act.
