  • Martina Navratalova. She was as good at what she did as any athlete has ever been at what they did.
  • "Billie Jean King: She was a solid player. She could volley well and she was a great net player. She won 6 singles titles, doubles 10 times, and mixed doubles 4 times. She was a pioneer to womens sports. Steffi Graf: She had a very good game. Good serve, great off the ground, and she had the ambition to win, and win she did. She won 107 career WTA singles titles and 11 doubles titles. In '95, she became the only tennis player to win the 4 major singles titles 4 times. Unbelievable. Martina Navratilova: She was the best. She had skill that is unmatched. She could hit a great serve when she needed it. And she knew how to win. She won Wimbledon 9 times and 39 Grand Slam titles. Martina was could be call the greatest doubles player ever. These are just a few of the ladies who could be called the best. You have to weigh a lot of things on deciding who is best."
