I love listening to the rain! We have a house in Maine with wood ceilings, but it's a really old house, so you can hear every drop. The beds are up there, too, and if it's raining at night and everyone is sleeping, it sounds really nice. So... yeah.

yeah and we have a corrugated iron roof so we get to hear it all the time ...from gentle showers to rain that sounds like a freight train coming through the roof!
