  • You make an interesting point, and as I made it clear before, I do support dual impeachment of both Bush and Cheney -- Bush's impeachable offenses have been egregious and have affected the rights of every American citizen, but the Republicans in Congress just don’t care, or pretend not to -- And of course they would support impeachment if these actions, or even just half of these, were taken by the Clintons, and right now, Hillary especially -- An extramarital affair even has led the Republican charge to impeach President Clinton, and please notice how the Republicans in Congress are still engaged in deception and finger pointing on the President Clinton issue. It’s called 'playing the Clinton Card' -- When you can’t defend George Walker Bush, you just sling the mud by bringing up something President William Jefferson Clinton has done, as if two wrongs somehow make a right. It would be refreshing if when something is said about Bush, Clinton wasn’t brought up, I suppose this is because people can’t find anything positive to say about Bush. Clinton’s deeds or misdeeds have nothing to do with our present situation, and Congress isn’t entirely blameless.
  • Charges???
  • I am not aware of Bush doing anything that would warrant impeachment. If he were to lie under oath as Bill Clinton did I would support his impeachment. I am still wondering why Bill Clinton was not charged with conspiracy to bribary. Clinton gave a pardon to Almon Braswell for Braswell giving Hillary's brother $200,000. How does this go unprosecuted?
  • Due to his illegal activities in unconstitutional detainment of American citizens as well as illegally torturing people (kind of like Saddam Hussein), he certainly is a disgrace to our country and the most unAmerican president in our history. He deserves to be impeached. We the citizenry deserve to have him impeached. Pelosi concluded it was in the Democrats best political interests to keep him in power until the next election. That, too, is a disgrace.
  • Not sure what "charges" you're talking about. Criminal negligence would be enough to constitute high crimes and misdemeanors, and that's just Katrina. Fraud (and conspiracy to commit same) on the Iraq war would do it as well. Dumb in comparison to a bag of rocks isn't illegal. Election fraud is. Here I'm talking about Ohio in '04 rather than Florida in '00 because you're talking impeachment, and he wasn't prez when all the crap went down in Florida (tho it probably could've been prosecuted). EEOC violations in the Justice Department (too bad there's no hell for you to rot in, Monica), voter registration games by Karl Rove, by way of Fredo's DOJ (I know it was you, Fredo, you broke my heart), etc. Oh, and don't forget treason for leaking the name of a NOC agent (if you don't see the significance of NOCs, go watch Mission Impossible again -- to google over Emanuelle Beart if for no other reason), thereby deliberately impairing national security for political purposes. Still all the time in the world for indictments to come down. W can't pardon somebody for something they haven't been charged with (yet). Wonder how Karl will do as somebody's prison bitch.
