People are saying she gets money to play dumb, but that's not true. She is a singer who made money because of her music (no matter what anyone thinks about it) and not from playing dumb. I don't know why she does it. I guess she thinks it's sexy. She would make a great Chrissy Snow if they brought Three's Company back on the air.

Those are the only rolls that she's offered because the big wigs in the business know she doesn't have any talent, so if she wants to make money/and or retain 'celebrity' status, she has to play along.
