If being homosexual really is an illness, deviant behaviour or a reaction to some sort of bad childhood - what solution do the people who believe this suggest? If they're right, and it really is an illness etc, why hasn't a cure been found yet?

Not that I believe homosexuality is an illness, but a cure hasn't been found for many illnesses (cancer, AIDs, diabetes...).

Right-wing nutjobs think homosexuality can be cured. They think the word "cure" is a synonym for "repress and deny". The most well-known "ex-gay" organization is Exodus International. One of the men who founded the organization now lives with a man he met there, and their spokes-model coverboy was photographed at a gay bar.

because the ones who are sprouting of about a so called cure are putting forward only one model ..and thats to believe in a book full of bigoted hate and fairy stories ...'believe in this and you'll be cured' is what they are saying so to these backward thinking homophobics it is 'the cure'...the only cure

i dont want to upset the applecart, but there was once a programme on tv stating that homosexuals have an extra chromosome? This was many years ago, and ive not heard it since? i am not a homophobic by the way
