    Theoretically it would blu-ray, but at this point they are about the same. However judging by the number of companies joining the blu-ray band-wagon. It seems like more movies and more options will be available for blu-ray than hd in the near future.

    My mom and I bought my dad the HD DVD player for Christmas and the picture is amazing!!! Not sure how it compares to the Blu-Ray though.
