You know I am really kinda over worrying about the middle east. I know that people over there are dying, on both sides of whatever happens to be going on at the time. I know that life is not enjoyable for many people there. I think the western world needs to worry about itself instead of worrying about the problems of the rest of the world. Insead of always worrying about kids dying in a far off land, let's worry about kids dying next door because their meth head father spends their food money on dope. Let's worry about not making things worse in OUR OWN lives, before we worry about fixing the lives of people in a far off land. Let's worry about our own babies, waiting in foster homes all their lives for someone to adopt them, while people adopt children from all over the world. Life sucks all over. Just because a people live in a different part of the world does not mean anything other than them having to deal with different problems. So as far as Iran and their issues, I am not concerned. While it sucks for them, here in my country we lose more kids to drugs and alchohol than they execute over there. I choose to focus on problems in my front yard, instead of worrying about what the neighbors two streets over are doing. Perhaps the world would be better if more people stayed out of the affairs of others.

I think that the United States should be proud to be in the company of the remaining countries who feel that the government should be in the business of killing its own people. Not only that, but we're good at it. Grouped with just four other kindred spirits-Iran, Saudi Arabia, China and Pakistan-The United States executes 88% of the people in the world. Too bad we aren't as good at providing healthcare, making cars or developing alternative energy sources.
