I told a guy I really really liked and was dating sort of(in 8th grade), that I only liked him like a brother. Ouch! He was soooo hurt- it was written on his face. And years later, I saw him and we were still attracted to each other but I was with someone else and I didnt know what to say to him and had a hard time looking him in the eyes. I was stupid- I told him what I said, because peopel were making fun of me for liking him (he was a little bit overweight)and I was having a hard time being accepted by the different cliques in school. I stupidly chose to hurt this really nice person to feed my ego. I recently contacted his sister and tried to get in touch with him to apologize and he wouldnt email me back. Serves me right. :(

It wasn't really such a turndown, but I once gave a guy I met who wanted my phone number, the phone number for dial-a-prayer. I also did the same thing with another guy once, but I gave him the number for the local mental health facility.

i don't know if it's the meanest, but i thought it was mean. in my defense, he deserved it. for halloween a couple of years ago, i dressed up as a bar maid. the costume looked a little like gretel and this pervy guy asked me, "if i drop bread crumbs will you follow me home?" so i told him, " it's going to take a lot more than bread crumbs for me to follow YOU home sweetheart." **kisses**

i turned a girl down my telling her i just liked her as a 'good friend' she was really hurt. even though there is nothing wrng in being a good friend but i dont know why girls feel hurt after hearing that.
