Both are "offensive. Both attempt to fix perceived wrongs. Political correctness tries to erase offensiveness by calling those who dont agree "offensive. Affirmative action, while once was necessary, is now nothing more than sanctioned racism

It would be very UN-PC to find fault with either. PC is a personal choice, AA is institutionalized rascism. As such, I find institutions more offensive than individuals. mega-points for a bold Q!

I don't find Affirmative Action offensive. At least not the idea of it. The problem is in it's implementation and the fact that too many people abuse the system. PC gets on my nerve to no end. It impedes honest dialogue and encourages people to be overly sensitive to things that in truth probably doesn't bother them that much. I hate it.

Cliché 1 no points, cliché 2 no points. It's a draw.

I would respectfully disagree with Mirages' answer. PC is not a choice when it is thrust upon us everyday, From the curriculum taught at school to the news we read in the paper everyday. The PC crowd has tried to force its views upon us through attrition, by labeling dissenters with words like hater, closed minded, ignorant. I find that offensive
