Actually, I found one in the side of my thigh. I just pulled it out and burned it and went back to sleep.
-
I've removed worse things from my pet...a tick would be no problem.
-
Sure, I'd remove it! Ticks are nasty things and I'm not going to let a parasite feed off MY pet. I do some volunteer work sometimes at an animal shelter, also, and I can find myself up to my elbows in ticks sometimes. Lots of big, juicy ones there, lol! But, being a country girl I'm sure you've seen more than your fair share of them.

I would just remove it i worked with dogs for many years and have de-ticked quite a few in my time.
-
Both, in the reverse order.
-
I would steralize anything small and that's metal i could find...then i would remove it...and if it cam ANYWHERE near me i would scream slightly and slightly tear up. haha
-
I would go from neighbor to neighbor with a plate of cookies and whoever did it for me gets them.
-
Just remove them. Nothing to scream about even tho they are SO GROSS! :)

It is a daily duty with our cat, sometimes two or three. One tip: don't pull them, TWIST them. If you twist, they come out cleanly; if you pull, they tend to leave the mouthparts behind, which may cause an infection. We have a little plastic thing called a Tick Twister. Ridiculously expensive, but it really works well.

Just pull it off and go on with life. We lived in a heavily infested tick area. The dogs and cats and even horses wold get them. Oh well, just remove and go on to the next.
-
I have found ticks on our previous dog. I pulled them off.

I have removed many ticks from my dog. She runs around all over the place and somehow comes home with at least 4 new ticks.
