  • Some people get really nervous while driving and even more so with a loved one in the vehicle. This will swing their mood to seem crabby. I found even within myself the more loved ones riding the more nervous I become. I believe it is an overwhelming sense of responsibility of making sure everyone gets there safe. Any little thing can seem like a distraction which can cause the driver to make mistakes. Now if your the one driving and he acts like this then maybe your driving scares him.
  • No, it doesn't, but if it did, I would refuse to ride with him until he admitted that he was being an emotional driver and agreed to either stop or take a few remedial driving lessons. It's just a short step from this habit to road rage.
  • No. My wife knows better than to distract me when I drive.
