I have almost 20k miles on my Honda Fit. I looked at the Yaris (hatchback and Sedan) and they didn't have as much room and had the same gas milage as my Fit Sport 5 speed manual. I've fit so many things in the Fit with it's different seat configurations I wouldn't even consider getting a sedan! I didn't test drive the Yaris because I knew right away I didn't want it but I can say that the Fit is fun to drive and has a very tight turning radius compared to my last car. Either way both those brands are reliable, gas efficient, and have low emissions. I just like the room in the Fit more then the Yaris.

The Yaris is by far the better car.I liked them so much i bought two!It has the best gas mileage at 40,best turning radius,best looking with toyota reliabity and refinement.I went to Honda dealership to drive fit and was not impressed!The fit was extremely slow and my wife said it looks too much like a mini-van yuck!One thing i did like was the versatile interior,but the ride wasn't as good as the Yaris.I've owned 2 Hondas (used)and had alot of problems.The biased auto experts will (for the most part in usa,not in europe)tell you they like the Fit cause of the interior and sporty handling,but the Yaris (like most Toyotas)go for ride quality versus sporty ride.Don't take my words,go compare them for yourself and (unless you like mini-vans) you'll buy the YARIS!

I brought my Fit in 3 months ago, and I love it. The interior is very well design, and a lot of room inside the car(when I first look at the car, I didn't think there is that much room inside). I tried when I fold down all the back chair, I can put 3 full size suit cases or 4 moving box. It is very amazing depends on the size of the car. Also, I won't think about yaris because of the trunk. For yaris, you can barely put a box in the trunk if you don't fold down the chairs. However, for Fit, you can easily put 2 boxes in the trunk without folding down the back chair. Also, one more thing that I like my fit is the paddle shift. Even though it is not as fast as or high-end sedan; however, it ia fun enough to play with in the city and highway. Specially when you are going up to the mountain :)
