Yes I have. Determination

Yes. I did it when I stopped looking at the enormity of the whole obstacle and focused on the next little step, then the next, and the next and the next after that. Until I was on the other side, looking back in amazement :).

Yeah, one day at a time... :-)

Through determination and the realization that obstacles only make us stronger. "Perhaps a person gains by accumulating obstacles. The more obstacles set up to prevent happiness from appearing, the greater the shock when it does appear, just as the rebound of a spring will be all the more powerful the greater the pressure that has been exerted to compress it. Care must be taken, however, to select large obstacles, for only those of sufficient scope and scale have the capacity to lift us out of context and force life to appear in an entirely new and unexpected light."

Yeah. I graduated from the 3rd most difficult school in the nation, with an average attenuation rate of 70%. You just take it day by day, do your best, set small goals. Like my late uncle used to say: "Mile by mile is a trial, yard by yard is hard but inch by inch is a cinch."

Yes many times (military training, Vietnam war and climbing mountains). Put the emotions and pain aside and do not quit. Never say never. Do it; don't think about it. "Do, or do not. There is no try."
