No. There are more of them who are conservative than there used to be. In the past, there was a broad range of positions within both parties and the philosophical glue that held them together was not the arbitrary labels of "conservative" and "liberal." I would challenge calling some Republican policies conservative though. When you change the interpretation of the Constitution and relax restrictions on government in order to expedite goals it may not be "liberal," but it certainly isn't conservative either. Conservatism is about less control, slower change, and smaller government. I don't think that has been happening much lately.

No. I am not too conservative, but I tend to vote Republican... not always, but frequently. If you knew me, conservative wouldn't come to mind!!
