No one can be sure, I would say that by using our five senses, it could invoc memories that we fondly remember. Perhaps when we smelt the first rain after a long dry season, it triggured a memory years ago, when we had a good experience of mum and dad joyfully playing with us in the rain. I suppose that a certain scent, perhaps mum's or dad's used in the old days, brings bck the memory that when we first smelt that sent. Thinking about it now, how I used to put brylcream in my hair, when I was a kid. I think, that our five sences, automatically bring back memories, especially happy ones. hope this helps
