When you answer a question, are you nice enough to give points to the others who answered well, and the person asking the question? Do you wait to get points before giving them?

Yes, unless I totally disagree with the answer I will give points. And no I do not to get points before giving them. Points are nice, but that's not what it's about.

If I answer, (whether I agree or not), I always give points. And, any other answer to THAT question, that I agree with, get points also. I do not down-rate.

I give points to answers that make me laugh or, in the case of a more serious question, give sound advice. I usually remember to do this as I'm checking to make sure I'm not repeating an answer before typing my own. I invariably forget to give points to the questioner until after I've submitted my answer, but track back and do it straight after.

I am like the point fairy. I like to give. I give pts for q's that I am not going to answer, but they are interesting or well created. I de troll whenever I happen upon a page that has been hit, I give pts to answers I like. I always give pts when I ask and someone takes the time to leave an answer unless they left nonsense.

I'll read friends' answers and give points to them. Otherwise, I'm really just looking to make sure my answer isn't taken yet. And, I give points to the questioner. Usually 5 if it's a good question. 4 if it's a fair question. I usually don't answer bad questions.

I give points to any answer I like and often give points to people who answer same questions as me and no.. I couldn't be bothered waiting for a point.. I'd rather know someone else is smiling and happy :)

If I see fit to answer, I give points right then. If I see other answers that I think are good I give points there too. Sometimes I wish I could give more points.

I will give points to any answer/question that I feel deserves it. I definitely don't wait to get points first.

If I remember to I'll give points to any question I've chosen to answer because obviously if I chose to answer it I found it thought evoking or worth being answered. But like I said, that's only if I remember, and unfortunately I haven't got the best memory in the world. And no, I don't wait for points.

90% of the time I award points first! Sometimes I forget, and sometimes I just don't feel like it.

If I am going to give points, I don't wait. I uprate about 99% of the questions I answer and I do it either right before answering or right after. There are a few rare occasions when I forget and then it may take a few minutes until I come back to that window.

I give points like mad hell to almost everyone that gives a decent answer or asks a question I respond to. Though, if I notice somebody asking tons of questions and not giving anyone points, I stop answering their questions and giving them points in return. I also quit giving people points if I notice they have an exceptionally low positive ratings given percentage.

i always give points to a question i answer, and sometimes if i see a question that i find interesting but don't feel like answering i give that points too

I type and submit my answer and then rate the question at the same time. I do not wait for people to give me points that is silly I do not pay for points and if a person does not want to give me points it is not going to make a lot of difference.

I give points to all the questions I answer...sometimes, I just give points to the ones I don't answer, if I think they're good questions.

I like to give points. I give points to the other answers and to the asker. I usually just give them first without waiting to see if I get any in return. Sometimes I forget and then go back later. If it's a person who never gives out points themselves, then I won't give them any but only if that's a regular thing with them.
