    American...:)
But I guess it's more of a proper English rather than the broken, half-spoken, and slang words. (I try to keep my sense of dignity).

    The Inland North (American)

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop." (It's cool because i AM from Chicago and do call carbonated drinks pop.

American. there are distinct differences in the two vocabularies of the different countries to probably be able to separate them into two different variations of the same language--like French and French Canadian.

A cool fact- In the BRITISH edition of the 6th Harry Potter book, if you look on the page in the front of the book which states all the languages that the book has been translated into, they actually state that it has been translated into American.

I have to say both, because growing up i was taught British English, but now that Ive moved to America i kinda adapted to their English, so sometimes i find myself speaking both at the same time. How weird is that?
