I'm in the same boat as you. I keep it in a garage, wash it weekly, and will wax it every few months after about 1 1/2 years. Mine came with an extra waxing from the dealer (negotiated on the deal) so I can wait longer. This works for me (have 2 cars - same methods for 5 years and they look great) so do what I do and you should be fine.

The best product that I have found is called Liquid Glass. It is a 2 part product so you have to purchase the pre-cleaner and the sealant. Wash and pre-clean with the Liquid glass pre-cleaner and get it clean and shining the way you want it, Then you want to apply the sealant (try 2x2 ft areas at a time) and wipe it off. When you are done sealing the finish, put the vehicle in the sun for about 2 hours to let the sealant bond and pull back into the shade and let it cool down. Then you want to apply a second coat of sealant. You will only have to do this 2 times a year. It takes about 2-3 hours to do this, but it is worth the time you save washing and caring for the paint finish. Also you may want to rinse out the undercarriage and wheel wells every time you wash to remove any salt residue you get from the air near the shore.
