Gotta say, nothin' beats a good old american road trip for me. I can drive for days!!

- Several areas really require a convertible to get the whole feeling. Like Highway 12 going West... The physical size of the windows keep you from seeing all the way up the mountain, and down the gorges. It's the same way around Jackson Hole/Alpine Junction/Swan Valley area.

Trains for sure,you get to see the countryside and meet people at the same time.

This is a tough question. Who doesn't love a cruise? It's just solid pampering from start to finish, but your ports are usually only a day. So, it's a great 'sampler platter' vacation. My wife lives to eat, so she especially loves cruising.

If I really want to see a place, though, I'll use my timeshare and fly.

I'll drive if the destination is not more than 6 hours or so away.

I've never taken a train but would really like to try that one of these days. I think traveling by train would be interesting.
