I leave them on...
-
Well the few times I've been in the room during one (when my wife was pregnant) they told her to take all her clothes off so that took care of that. But either way I don't think the doc will care. I say take them off.

I leave my socks on - the doc is not interested in my feet and the office is cold! I do not know if there is a rule book out there - maybe Emily Post has one. LOL!

I think the moment you are bottomless and your feet go into the stirrups, etiquette goes out the window. So leave them on if your cold, or lose them if you want to flaunt your killer pedicure :)
-
There is etiquette?
-
I don't think they are much interested in your feet. Whatever is more comfortable for you.
-
I wear baggy pull up pants and leave my socks and shoes on for a speedy exit after my humiliation.
-
I leave mine on. It's not my feet that he is examining.
-
Depends on you! LOL I leave my socks on though...
-
Don't put too much thought into it, I'm sure they don't.
-
If I'm wearing them, I tend to leave them on... even though it looks silly to me to be naked except for my socks! The office is usually cold enough without my other clothes on - I refuse to take off my socks and have cold feet too! Besides, I really don't think the doctor cares one way or the other.
-
Why would one take their socks off unless the gynaecologist was a chiropodist and doing two jobs at once? I don't think s/he would be interested in your ones feet.
-
Well, if they were going to do woo-hoo, I'd agree with you but this is a medical examination.
