'on purpose'... 'couldn't help yourself' is this not a contradiction in terms? mebbee not, my life seems to be a contradiction, I AM doing it on purpose but I can't help myself. No matter how hard i try i can't help myself. I need help, professional help.

It is a contradiction, but who cares? I do it so often that I am terrified of formal gatherings. example: I was eating at IHoP with my sons, 20, and 21. The staff came out singing 'Happy Birthday" I said, "what kind of a jerk would bring someone to IHop for their birthday?" I hear a deep voice BEHIND ME say, "Um...that would be ME!" I slowly turn and there was a guy , oh, 6'3"or 4", shaved head, tattoos, very mean looking. And NOT smiling! I just kind of gasped and he said, "Be cool, it's for my 5 yr old." My sons were in hysterics, laughing at 'yet another social faux pas I committed." :( As we checked out he came up to pay his bill and my 21 yr old said, 'Dude, I hope your not pissed." He said, "no, it was actually funny, my g/f was the one who got mad." I STILL maintain it is a jerky thing to take a 5 yr old to IHOP for their bday! Anyway, me and my mouth!

i was in the student union with some friends at the end of a hard day, it was quite busy and there were no free tables. we stood with our drinks for a moment then a few boys got up to leave. we walked over and i shouted 'take your glasses with you'. they looked angry but luckily as im a girl they didnt do anything, other then tidy the table for us. it was kind of involuntary but i really wanted to say it so i think it counts.
