  • You may be able to rinse the ear with a solution of half hydrogen peroxide and half water (tepid). Lean your head to the side and with a dropper place a few drops of the solution in the ear.Take care to not to put the dropper past the opening of the ear. This could result in a perferation of the eardrum. You will notice a fizzing sensation. Leave in for a few moments and repeat the process a few times. This will rid the ear of any earwax that may be there. If this doesn't help medical attention may be necessary. During an infection your ear may develope scar tisuue around the ear drum or it still may be infected. These things are hard to treat without medical care. Often times an antibiotic and eardrops are prescribed.
  • It is quite possible that you still have fluid behind your eardrum, which will make it hard to hear. Check with your doctor to make sure that you aren't in need of further antibiodics. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Cleaning your ears is never a bad idea, but be careful with cotton swabs, you can push any lingering wax farther down into the canal and make that situation worse.
  • i have found it's actually best to have a professional cleaning done, this can be done at a specialist with water jets and mild suction(painless i assure you) or u can go to a homeopathic therapist who will remove any excess wax dirt and other stuff with hot wax (again painless although it sounds bad i know)
  • you should put any old drops u have in that work like debrox or weaxagone!! it worked for me if that doesnt work see ur doctor imidiatly because i am prone to ear infections and i dont take chances i go to my pediatrician right away1!!
  • Most likely, it is due to the lingering infection affecting your eustachian tubes. The tubes connect your middle ear to the back of your throat and help equalize pressure in the middle ear. The tubes can swell shut (just like when your nose gets congested), reducing your hearing ability. You might want to try decongestants and see if that helps. You can also try performing the Valsalva maneuver to help pressurize your middle ear. You hold your nose shut, take a deep breath, close your mouth and try to blow--this directs the air into your Eustachian tubes. This often helps to clear the fluid from your middle ears faster. If that does not help, a visit to an ENT is recommended.
  • HOME REMEDY SOLUTION HERE: http://www.Earadicator.com/ (not ear wax) This discomfort is often due to simple sinus swelling, allergies, flying, ear infections or even swimmers ear. It is simply a swollen eustachian tube that is keeping fluid from draining properly from the inner ear. I made a home remedy that can END the hearing loss, pain, swelling, and congestion in your ears - I discovered this myself by trial and error. Like you, I had searched online for a solution I could use at home but never found one that worked! That is why I am posting this - I will tell you how - there is nothing to buy from me. GO HERE http://www.Earadicator.com/ for the instructions. READ all the testimonials proving it works from people who have tried it.
