  • Get a hold of your Dr. This happened to me before and she just wrote me a new one.
  • Emergency rooms generally help out with a prescription for a couple of days of a medication to let you survive until you can reach your doctor, provided it isn't something a drug-seeking person generally asks for, such as the narcotic painkillers. Even then you might get them to prescribe one of the milder strong painkillers, such as hydrocodone. Life will still suck for a couple of days but at least it won't be horrible. All of my medications have no recreational use (except probably in some twisted fringe society which finds a recreational use for *anything*) so one time I lost my medications while traveling on a Friday night, and my doctor being unavailable until Monday morning, the local E.R. was nice enough to write me out a prescription to get me through to Monday.
  • This happened to me once. I had a prescription for anti-depressants, and xanax. The doctor gave me samples for the anti-depressant to get me through, but I was S.O.L. with the xanax.
  • asked client what happened to them then ring my coordanator
  • Contact your doctor to get another refill.
  • I got a hold of of the doctor and he gave me a refil right away......
  • This happened to me once, and it was on the weekend too. My physician wasn't on call so his answering service told me to contact my pharmacist. My medication, Klonopin 0.5mgs, accidently spilled into my bathroom sink and essentially got destroyed. I explained what happened to my pharmacist and he said he would give me 6 pills to hold me over until Monday when I could contact my doctor. So I suppose it helps to have a solid rep with your physician and pharmacy. The pharmacist told me he would do it because he knows my history and believes I wouldn't make up such a story. I didn't even know the pharmacy could do this, especially with a Controlled Substance, but I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. I absolutely love my pharmacist - he's an awesome guy! Anyway hope that helps a little!
  • Contact you Doctor ASAP!!!
