  • Yes, it is safe. Temporary Internet Files are a cache of files you have downloaded from the internet. If your browser needs the file again, it checks the cache and gets it from there first. If you delete them, you force the browser to get the files from the internet again - but apart from your favorite pages taking a little while longer to load the first time you go there, nothing else should have changed. If you delete cookies too, some sites will forget you and all your preferences - you may have to log in again (for instance, to answerbag.com). It's still safe to do this.
