  • Most likely yes - however there may be a waiting time to reach the prescribing doctor. Exceptions are to be had, depending on if we are dealing with a known abusable narcotic or not, the size of the prescription, (quantity of pills, number of refills) which could be construed as abuse of drugs. In the day and age of computer technology it is not too uncommon for people on vacation to get an emergency refill of a medication via the computer (Through the drug store) or even over the phone if the doctor calls it in to a nearby pharmacy, or if the pharmacy calls the doctor.
