  • Not to be a jerk, but are you sure? Does he go outside at all? Could he be going where you wouldn't necessarily see it? If he isn't urinating or defecating, you need to get him to the vet IMMEDIATELY!!!!! An obstruction is life threatening and needs treatment urgently. If he's still playful, that's a good sign, but this question is two days old so that could have changed. I hope he has given you something to scoop in the intervening days.
  • Try putting his illplaced deposit in the litter box. Then put him in also. If he is peeing on the carpet you will need to clean that thoroughly and cover the scent as best you can. When he is older, even though he is boxtrained, he may want to mark if he can still smell it.
