Cyberpunk. Doctors are implanting microchips into the brains and spinal cords of stroke victims and people who suffered spinal cord injuries. One person can now give commands to a computer with his thoughts. Right now it's only to move a cursor, but who knows where this will go? It's quite amazing, actually.
