  • hi my name is sam i have one to and i repleasd the tps wish it's like the cheock sorry about my spelling and i also put a throttle body and it still does the same thing and Iam glad iseen this frist becaues that's what i was thinging about doing next but i had it check out at autozone and it also showed the powertrain control module uses the oxygen sensor to calclate the air/fuel ratio in the exhaust and i forgot about the conputer box at list that's what i call IT after that i just don't know let me know something man smyfran@att.net
  • I was going to be a smartass, but I won't. Have you considered that you could probably be getting bad gas or have a significant amout of water in your tank? I had a problem with my 1972 Chevelle SS bogging down, and it was due to water in my tank.
  • hey man iam sam iam haveing the same probleam and i put the conputerbox on it and the t-p-s and the theottle body to and it's still doing the same thing i to don't know what eleas to do and now iam stuck with a ecm the conputerbox so if you know some one who needs won i may sell it i had a hard time finding it need help too. my does the same thing sam sorry i can help
  • it has to be your timeing belt i just had my fix and that's what it was my was doing the same thing
  • I already answered you man it's your timeing belt or just have your timeing set back on it. if your belt is worn out your timeing will jump off .
  • Had same problem..great idle but no advance...changed distributor and it runs like a top. Mr. Tripp Augusta, GA
  • its your timeing belt or it jumpout of time best to put a new one proble about 500.00 if you tail them that thats all you want. smyfran@att.net ?
