There are some studies now that say stress during a pregnancy can cause emotional problems in the baby. We release certain chemicals when we are under stress and it is theorized that these pass to the baby. Will it harm your child, not from a physical perspective, but they have been finding that women who had mostly stress free pregnancies and environments had happier and more content babies. Also, the additional stress caused by the feelings or even guilt about the way you feel can make a pregnancy much harder. It would be a good idea to examine why these emotions are occuring and to try and eliminate the source of them. If this isn't possible, just try to relax and continue to enjoy the other things in life instead of dwelling on the emotional process. If nothing else, the indifference or bad attitude may make a pregnancy FEEL like its taking forever. :) A good link for this topic: http://www.birthpsychology.com/lifebefore/fetalsense.html
