  • Nobody does that to me in my "real" life because I'm very outspoken on my position & I'd either make them feel like a fool or knives would come out. But on here there's no way to get through to these close minded bastards
  • nah ... not at all ... but I get great joy out of ripping these hypocritical bigoted bastards a new arse!:)
  • I can only hope it would, but, considering how close-minded and ignorant these kinds of people are, I know it won't. but if their gonna go off with their usual b.s., they're going to get it right back! I don't experience this very often, except usually on Pride weekend. the extremist love to hang around the park, especially on parade day, and get up in everyones face and tell us how we're sinners, going to hell, blah, blah, blah...the usual garbage. one gal told my friend Dennis this year how she was a "saint" and God told her to come to preach "His" word. she told Dennis he was going to Hell, and he told her..."well honey, I'll be there holding the door for you!"
  • I don't really expect to, but I will have my say. They expect me to listen to them and take everything they say to heart. Yeah, right. Depending on how insistent they are will decide how hard I come back at them. I'm not shy and I have no problem giving them my opinion in no uncertain terms. I can only hope that one will take what I have to say. If that happens, then it was worth it.
  • I think it can sometimes be useful to voice a critic, some people are not even aware of being offensive. They could eventually develop some insight if you give them some good arguments.
  • Whenever I have the opportunity to tell someone why they shouldn't be homophobic, or why they shouldn't treat me any differently because I'm bi, you can bet your arse I'm gonna take it. And I may not make an impact, but I can point out things that make you go "hmm", and some things that can make you start to second guess what you believe. If I have the courtesy to listen to their side, then they better have the decency to listen to my rubuttal. And most people I talk to understand what I'm saying, even if they don't agree with it personally.
  • I know it has an impact. I have had people change their ways - at least outwardly.
