I have, because I was told that I'm "disturbing" the peace during quiet hours... :)

Any noise disturbance can prompt calls to reception who may opt for a security visit or a phone call to determine if everything is OK and then preface it with the notation that a complaint or call came in concerning the noise level. If you call an interuption "trouble", then yes.

Sure you can. It is the same as if you were having a loud party in the room. It is a disturbance that you can get into "trouble" for. Now if you are at a motel, that is another story. I think you would get into "trouble" for being too quiet :)

IF someone calls the front desk and complains, the clerk will call you and give you a warning
