I pull into the main parking lot so I don't hold up the line, and then at least count whats in the bag to make sure I have the correct number of items -- I'm not real picky so I figure if they get something wrong, at least I'm getting something and not getting cheated out of an item completely. That way if I'm missing something, I can always just park and go into the restaurant and fix it..

I always look before I drive away... I get very cranky if I come home and it isn't what I wanted.
-
well if i have time to check i would but same atleast they are giving me something .and if i found that i got wrong thing i wont retrun but complain next time to be care full
-
I don't check...if it is wrong I simply never return to the restaurant and instead choose another.

Must always look. Never trust! They make all sorts of mistakes. Or the food could just look old or cold. It's one of the main reasons I don't like driving thru and prefer waling in, so I can check and complain more timely.
-
I usually just accept it...but next time I make it more clear what I want!

I almost always check the bag before I drive away. I make sure that there are the right number of items in the bag. Sometimes I will accept an order that I know is wrong if there are more items than there should be but the items I did order are there or if they give me something I still like that is worth at least as much as the item I ordered and paid for.

I trusted the local Wendy's not to screw up 2 chicken sandwiches and two sour cream and chive baked potatoes. When we arrived home, no sour cream. They suck! Thankfully, I had some sour cream in my fridge.

I do everytime. One time we got Macca's for a quick supper for the whole family. One burger and chips was missing which meant my sister had to share my meal. The order was huge, but the service should not be compromised because of that. I don't think it's their fault most of the time, they've got a lot of customers to serve, but customers have every right to complain when they don't get what they paid for.

Yes I do usually inspect that the orders are right and that they made sure to get my french fries! :) -Jessica Edgell soon to be Zeidler.

No, I don't. I just accepted it in good faith. So far it has been good all the time.

I have had wrong orders filled and found out when I got home. I never go back though. At resturants, if my food is not right, I never complaine, because you never know what else they will add to your dinner lol.

I try my best to remember to check before I leave the window; I've had too many incorrect orders.

I used to trust the fast food places, but after getting your order screwed up a couple time, I now take that extra 10 seconds to check the contents. In fact 3 days ago, I made an order milk shake and double cheese burger. When I pulled up to the pickup window, they gave me my drink and without thinking anything I put it in the holder. When they gave me my bag I opened it up and had a fish sandwich with fries. Gave it back, while waiting I checked the drink and it was a sprite drink, man was I getting pissed. I gave back and finally after they finagled the orders around I got the correct bag. Always check, check, check. As far as going back when my order was wrong, It was not worth the trip to return.
