  • It's not an area, the Dust Bowl is a dust cloud that occurs in the Great Plains. The Great Plains is a strip stretching from Texas all the way up into Saskatchewan, Canada, it's about 600 miles wide.

  • it's kansas and oklahoma and the states line that line that is the dust bowl it happened in the 1900 like around the 1930's not sure what year!
  • It was used as a term for the area of the Great Plains that was disastrously affected by the great six year droughth of the 1930's. It affected parts, but not all, of Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado. The top soil literally blew away, creating great dust storms. The problem was compounded for the people by it also being during the great economic depression.
