If it was a straight male construction worker, you would probably get your but kicked. If it were a female construction worker, you WOULD get your but kicked. Otherwise, you might get dinner and a movie out of it.

Depends who is saying and and what caulk you are talking about.

Oh, there are more combinations: What if "you" is female? Or: "I thought you might like to know, your caulk is all dried and shriveled up."

Or: "Hey, can I use your caulk?" Etc. etc. etc.

I had to imagine that being said in an American accent before it made the slightest bit of sense. It took a couple of minutes, but I got there.

If you said it to me, I would extol the virtues of DynaFlex 230...:-D... . . It should be noted that this joke has been beaten to death in many venues (e.g. The Crank Yankers called a hardware store with numerous questions about caulks) . .
