  • No. I love the taste of coffee, but can't drink it at night as I will not sleep.
  • Some people like the taste... Like non alcoholic beer.
  • Sometimes decaf is the right choice. I drive a truck all night long, and sometimes I go have breakfast when I'm done in the morning, but know I will be going to bed soon after and drink decaf with my breakfast.
  • If you like the taste or sleeping pills, then yes it's the same thing lol. Taking coffee has many intents behind it that could differ from one to another. Sometimes, drinking coffee is for the taste of it, some other times just for a social meeting (meeting friends to chat around a cup of coffee, a date...), and sometimes to just wake up. If you drink coffee for A or B, you might not want the boost of caffeine... ...but it's kinda rare that people take sleeping pills for other reasons than to sleep... so non-drowsy sleeping pills would be weird.
  • If you are prone to anxiety, caffeine can push you over the edge. Coffee and decongestants can pack quite a kick. But, the taste of coffee is perfect with some foods. Eggs and bacon. Waffles. Doughnuts. Even decaf has a small amount of caffeine, but less than tea, or softdrinks. pts for the Q!
  • Decaff latte = mug of milk. Decaff espresso = waste of time.
  • I don't drink coffee just for it's affects. I drink it because I love the flavor. That would be like drinking good wine only to get drunk or a buzz. I drink wine because I like the way it tastes. Same with coffee. Caffeine bothers my stomach a lot. I get real sick with it, same for drinking sodas with caffeine. So I drink decaf. Still get the flavor. I used to drink regular coffee to go to sleep, that's the way ti react for me, no big rush for me. It's just something to drink.
  • Decaf....yuk! and points for the laugh :o)
  • It's like caffeine free and flavor free too. I accidentally drank a cup of decaf when I was working at a restaurant and I wondered what it was because it tasted so bad and the waitress told me it was decaf. It's nasty stuff.
