I get the same feeling right before I get sick. I use it as a sign to pump up the vitamin C and cross my fingers I can fight it off. (I've had my wisdom teeth out, and it doesn't make a difference.)
I wish I had an answer to this question because the same thing happens to me a few times a year and will last for 4-5 days. It can't be my wisdom teeth because I had them removed years ago. But it could be from my teeth pressing together. I think my two lower front teeth are closer together than they used to be. I've often thought it was being followed by a sinus infection but it's happening right now and I don't seem to be getting one.
If you haven't had your wisdom teeth out, this is a telltale sign that they may be impacted and pushing your front teeth together. See a dentist immediately.
