  • God knows - people in the UK hate Tesco in the same way. They seem to resent Tesco making the money and being as successful as it is - they forget that Tesco is a business and that is what it's primary function is. All they do is complain and whine about it (in the much the same way they did about Microsoft). Personally, I think Tesco is the best shop on the planet!
  • Unfair labor practices. Kill small businesses because they can sell products for a lower price. Some people percieve their products are cheaply made. Price fixing charges. They are sued about 500 times a year.
  • dominance.
  • Cause they are like a cult. That place sucks.lol.target all the way.
  • Because they destroy the concept of the mom and pop store or the individual merchant or small business trying to make it. Many towns have lost a lot of their small business when a Walmart moves in. On the flip side, all the people who complain about that fact go there and buy the cheaper stuff instead of visiting their local merchants forcing them to close down. If Walmart moved in and nobody went there and still shopped the small businesses, then Walmart would have to close down. The reality is who is going to buy something twice as expensive somewhere else when they can get it cheaper at Walmart. I use my local merchants as much as possible, but have no love nor hate for Walmart when I have to go there for something.
  • Because they are a ruthless corporation with little or no ethics at all. They move into small communities by force and open a Wal-Mart,therefore putting most of the local business out of business and if the sales are low they shut down leaving the communities with nothing. They leave very little profit margin to their suppliers to keep the store prices down. They support sweat shops in China, and pay the employees very little with almost no benefits. These are some reasons why I do not shop there.
  • Because their business tactics are dirty and they treat their employees like crap.
  • Because it is a corporation with no ethics or morals, and is destroying the nation.
  • I have read about thousands of kids' bikes sold there that had the front wheel fall off. They were recalled. I had my bike 2 weeks and the seat fell off.Yes, I bought it at Wal-Mart, same brand, different model, as the recalled bikes.
  • It is politically correct these days to pretend you are being socially responsible by jumping on the "I hate big business" bandwagon. Most of the people who say it don't really change their shopping habits.
  • I bought two bikes at Wal-Mart. Two weeks later, the right pedal fell off both. Several years ago, many bikes sold at Wal-Mart were recalled because the front wheel would fall off.
  • Elitism
  • because its a freakin ZOO!
  • i think it's hated because it takes over small stores nearit JUST because they think the prices are unbeatable i beeeeen hattin' when i saw the workers
