I think you are all wonderful people. I am seriously jealous, and sorry I could not be there to liven up the party. I assure you it would have been somewhat livelier with my presence. I do think you all rock.

Hi, sweetcakes..it was simply extraordinary. Got to meet and hug (of course)Psycho American, Maximum Reality, Stableboy, Carmella, Old School, AB-Rich, AB-Joel, Lynfrom NM, Jodie, Mrs. Dufresne,Scifisuz, Eli Lies..Mrs. Stableboy and several others who attended. Tons of pictures were taken and I know they will be posted on the internet to share with anyone who is interested! It is really great to be able to visualize the face of the person you are "talking" to..Eli flew in from New York and arrived Saturday mid-afternoon and he flies back home today! Talk about dedication! Some others flew/drove from New Mexico..of course, Carmella came from England..I was looking forward to it, knowing it would be great fun but it was so much better than that! :)

Thanks for the pics!!! I'm so sorry and sad I couldn't go! I totally had the date wrong! If we do is again I will go next time for sure!!!

We had a lovely time, M Moon. There were a wide range of ages represented and three admins showed up too! I wasn't surprised by anyone in terms of them being like their AB personna. Carmella, whose idea this was, and Stableboy, the facilitator, really pulled it all together nicely for everyone. Eli came all the way from Connecticut with his AB shirt for us all to sign - he's met more ABers than anybody else! Goofy prizes were awarded for goofy reasons - that was Stableboy's doing, and he also put together a clever souvenir booklet for us, complete with illustrations by Retroglide for us to color, a crossword, a quiz, and blurbs by Stableboy and AB-Joel. Carmella and I were busily assembling them at the last minute! The orange and blue AB colors were everywhere. Momma Bear sent us coffee too! We mingled and chatted, took lots of photos and made connections and had lots of laughs! Most of the participants were Californians, but New Mexico, Connecticut, Hawaii and England all showed up too. We had a very nice catered meal and everyone was sent home with leftovers. Mrs. Dufresne even brought her sage hat! Carmella wore a dollar-store tiara, even though this was a very casual gathering of jeans and shorts and Tshirts. Pine nuts, tamales and Marmite were exchanged. What people need to remember is that individual ABers made this happen. It wasn't prompted by AB staff - this was all the doing of AB members, so if it's going to happen again, that's for us to decide and carry out.

OH WOW! Just looking at all the pictures, posted so far ... ah me! I can literally FEEL you all! Almost 'desperately' (HA!) I oh oh oh wanted to attend this year's AB gathering! It is so obvious all you guys had a great time. I could be more thrilled or happy for each and everyone of you! Well, I'd be happier if I (and my beloved husband) were there yapping away ... laughing even more ... sippin' a couple ... hugging you all ... and just REALLY not only putting faces onto monikers, but beginning a more concrete and lasting real-time friendship with all of you! KEEP THOSE 'LETTERS' AND PHOTOS A'COMING!! Forever and ever huggin' ya all!
