Mermaids. Figurines, plates, necklaces, anything with either Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid, or anything with a mermaid on it. I have a beautiful mermaid teapot, and an equally beautiful mermaid candle holder. I still collect.

my little pony! oh my god i loved my little pony. i had the books, the videos. not to mention the plastic ponies i used to talk to like PEOPLE. i'll whisper the second part of my answer because it makes me sound insane but, erm. sticks. YES, i know. i used to line them up in the garden. before you ask they were, of course, all named 'sticky'.

I collected wrappers from Popsicle®. They had coupons on them which could be turned for prizes. I lived near a park, and I could collect several hundred a day on weekends. I saved them up, and mailed them in. I was always so excited to get a package in the mail with a whistle, or a tiny magnifier, once even a two inch long knife.

Baseball cards. I had about a hundred of the 1958 series until they were stolen.

And since you're still around...and doing AB well...I'll answer.] Anyway, when I was a kid I collected political memorabilia (buttons, bumper stickers, jewelry, flyers, etc., and even an engraved invitation to the Inagural Ball, which my Mom and Dad received...and attended), starting with Eisenhower. I was 13 when he was running in back 1951. I still have that stuff! +5
