  • I have heard it doesn't at all. It might smell like sauteeing some twigs, I've heard. If one were hypothetically worried one might have a second pan sauteeing garlic.
  • Yes, it does make the inside of your house smell like cannabis. I haven't ever had any problems controlling the smell though. Just turn on the vent hood and an extra fan, you'll be fine. The smell goes away after an hour or so if you have windows open. But then when you cook a recipe with the butter it will make your house smell wonderful again.
  • oh yeah !!... but the results are well worth it , I normally cook 'cabbage' at the same time and it seems to disguise the smell
  • It would smell interesting. You bet I would butter my muffins daily. I wonder where I can get a bar of that :)
  • It smells a little, but there are different ways to make butter or coconut oil or other extractions that dont smell too much, if you turn on the vent though its not too bad. the smell doesnt really linger, if you just cook some garlic or something like that when youre done and turn on some fans and open the windows, youll be set. if you need a good recipe for making butter, mines legendary...
  • Depends on how much your cooking. 1/8 won't smell that bad and will go away shortly. But a zip might stink up the kitchen for longer. *The fumes will get you toasted =)
