  • A strong mouth wash...:)
  • You can get doggy toothbrushes and toothpaste, but they usually don't like that. Try letting him chew on a clean bone.
  • That is good food- I used to have my lab on that. The best remedy is really brushing their teeth, I know bummer, but rope toys and these type of toys could help too. http://www.dogtoys.com/plaqatden1.html
  • Brush there teeth with a special kind of toothpaste brush. Dental bones for dogs.
  • Oddly, I accidentally found that using yogurt with live cultures helped a couple of my dogs' breath improve. It didn't work in all of them, but several I saw an improvement. I saw the change in about 7 or so days.
  • Bad breath is usually realted to the health of their teeth. Regular brushing and products that promote healthy dentition can help a lot. If it has to do with their diet, try adding a little parsley to their food, it won't hurt them and will definitely improve their breath.
  • If it is just general oral hygiene I give them bones and ropes to chew. If it is something more of an infection I defer to the vet.
  • Stop licking your balls ;)
  • No flour nor sugar foods, Science Diet, nor Eagle Pack Maintenance or anything with much flour or sugar. So, no bananas really, not much in the way of biscuits, nor some dried fruits. Salsa, Solid Gold dog food, apples, some carrots, a few Fritos and others, don't hurt, and will actually help. Do you at least get it?? Good luck!!
  • I'm just getting used to this, but I did type in the right thing.
