  • It was a tough class to over come. I had never been comfortable speaking to groups of people but once you get the hang of it, its not so bad. Remember just picture your audience naked, lol! Or look at their foreheads or ears if it makes you nervous to look into their eyes.
  • I actually enjoy public speaking but only if I have a speech ready. I don't like it when I'm put on the spot and are expected to come up with a speech out of nowhere, that makes me nervous.
  • I dont like being center of attention so that would be a no.lol.I get big time anxiety and would probably pass out.The weird thing is when i was a kid and went to church,i had no problems doin it.Not anymore.lol
  • if i am challenged to something or rather say cross-questioned while public speaking(like in college's time),i will have no problem cause than i focus on proving my point right, but if i am asked to speak and people stare at me like dumb-ass i get kind of nervous... i remember once i had to speech infront of this huge room of about 70-80 people and no one questioned me (as it was an interactve process), i began to sweat looking at their staring and mysterious eyes...after a while a man spoke from the far corner . then i realised i had not swithced the mic on..it was rather embarassing, but thankfully ev1 might hav thot it was some kind of practise as the main guest was late and there were other situations to defend my embarassment.... the prog wa a huge sucess no doubt..:)
  • Most of the time I don't mind if the public speaks.
  • I love it. I do it for a living. I do it as a hobby. I train other people to do it. I believe it is a skill that is helpful in any business or profession and can be the key to success or the reason for failure. I believe that some people focus on it and others can cultivate it. i am a member of Toastmasters and I recommend that highly to others. I am available for coaching and encouraging and I seldom turn down an opportunity to speak in public.
  • I have spoken publically a few times. I feel quite nervous before, but then enjoy myself when i get into it. It is a great skill to develop, helps in life lots. But, it is always better to believe what you are saying strongly as it comes across in the speech.
  • I'm okay with it.
  • Ah, ummm, um, ahhh, I ah suppose I uh am ah, ok with it.
  • I'm pretty good at it! :)
  • I really don't like it. Over the course of university I finally became more comfortable with it, but I have to prepare like nobody's business. I can't "wing it." I think I have very little charisma and people skills, so if I don't know my stuff it is very apparent. The better I know my stuff, the more confident I feel, and the less ridiculous I feel standing up there talking to a crowd, like, I know what my purpose is.
  • I feel confidant prior to actually getting up and talking. I always say I won't show that I am nervous, but my body doesn't listen and I kinda shake and move my eyes a lot. I really do try to control it, but I don't want to mess up the speech....ahh, conflicts...lol
  • I guess I do it a lot .. the more you do it the more you get used to it.
