  • Go to your counties web site, and find the section dealing with your property appraiser. There you should find a listing of your property and when it was built.
  • look at your abstract. You probably had one done when you bought the place. If you didn't, you can hire a lawyer to do a title search/abstract - it's not terribly expensive, but generally not cheap either.
