  • There are many equations for uniform acceleration but the main ones you need to remember are: s = u t + half a t^2 and v = a t s = distance u = initial velocity v = final velocity t = time a = acceleration The first one will give you the time when the camera hits the ground, the second one will give you the velocity. But remember: velocity = speed AND direction, so make sure you get the signs right. Most of the other equations can be worked out from these two.
