Diamonds obtained through the taking of blood ... The UN or NATO or some org like that might designate that funds used to purchase diamonds from a particular country are used to finance illegal actions, slavery, terrorism, etc.

Well there is a movie about this, so that would be a better reference than asking us.(also its a very good movie in my opinion)

blood diamonds are normal diamonds but say they have a special org in indonesia or somewhere else it is when they use slavery to get people to keep on working usually till they die to look for diamonds they are called blood because alot of lives is taken over looking for them.
